Rev. J. Wayne Spriggs – District Superintendent

Wayne Spriggs has served as the District Superintendent since January 2003. He served for two years as District Director for the Canadian Bible Society – South Alberta District before coming to the Eastern PA District office. Wayne was licensed by the Christian and Missionary Alliance in 1983 and has served in pastoral ministry in both Canada and the United States. Previous to entering pastoral ministry, he taught high school in Ontario, Canada. Wayne is married with two adult children.

Rev. D. Craig Weidman – Assistant to the District Superintendent

Craig Weidman came to the Eastern PA District office in July 2006. Prior to coming to the district office, he was involved in pastoral ministry for over 13 years in Eastern Pennsylvania—the last eight and a half of which were in the northeast suburbs of Philadelphia leading an innovative church called The Journey. Craig was licensed by the Christian and Missionary Alliance in 1993. He was involved in Christian radio broadcasting for seven years before entering pastoral ministry. Craig is married with a son in college and a daughter in high school.

Mrs. Janet Spriggs – Ministry Services Coordinator

Janet Spriggs has served in the Eastern PA District office since 2003, first in the area of donor relations and then as administrative assistant.In addition to serving with Wayne in the Eastern PA District office, she had been Wayne’s administrative assistant for two years at the Canadian Bible Society in Calgary, Alberta. Janet was originally trained as a registered nurse and practiced nursing in Ontario, Canada from 1982-1985. Janet is married to the District Superintendent and is the mother of two adult children.

Mr. Timothy Oberholtzer - Administrative Assistant/Bookkeeper

Tim is a native to the Harrisburg Area and a member of Discover Church in Camp Hill, PA. He is a recent addition to the Eastern Pennsylvania District Office. Prior to taking on this new responsibility with us, Tim has worked for approximately eight years in the Hotel industry as a Night Auditor. He is currently advancing his education at Harrisburg Area Community College as an accounting major, with the intention of obtaining a bachelors degree in that field. As a member of the C&MA he recently spent time in Trujillo, Peru as part of a short term missions trip. He joined other C&MA members from across the country in Peru to perform a variety of ministry work. This experience has led him to feel a call to explore future opportunities in a missions field on a long term basis.
